Sterling Silver Poppy Ring with Black Star Diopside - Night Poppy

Make a statement with a large, cheerful poppy flower in sterling silver, centered with a gorgeous black star diopside.  One of my favorite flowers is the icelandic poppy, but they don't grow well in my southern garden, so I thought I'd create one in silver instead!  I chose the dramatic black star diopside as the center stone, which looks beautiful with the oxidized silver.  Other stones can be selected as well - turquoise is one of my favorites in this design, too.

The wide band has been hammered for texture, and topped with a gentle wave on the top edge.  The poppy flower has been cut and shaped by hand, and the bezel setting for the stone is made from romantic filigree wire. Stone size is 10mm.   The band measures 15mm, (about 5/8 inch), and is slightly flared for comfort.  Please let me know your normal narrow band ring size for the finger you plan to wear the ring on.  I will make the ring in a size to fit your finger, as the sizing for very wide band rings is different than normal width rings.  (There is a message box  on the shopping cart page for you to note your finger size before you check out).
